Worked with a Herman Miller supply source but didn't get any instruction on which chair is which . The Folks at Chairperson sent me detailed pics and then instructions . I really appreciate there help and will be using there product going forward thanks again Tom.

Easy to install, fixed sinking chair

My HM Equa 2 had after 10 or so years started to sink when I was sitting on it. Purchased this replacement gas cylinder and replaced it in 10-15 minutes and the chair is now as new.

Their website helped me figure out if I had an Equa 1 or 2. I had the replacement cylinder within a couple of days. Pop 2 clips to remove the old cylinder, reverse the process for the new cylinder. My old cylinder sank within minutes of raising the chair. The new one has yet to sink. Well worth the $40 bucks.

Customer service was the very best! I didn't know what cylinder to buy. I was able to send pics and measurements via email and they helped me get the right part! I would highly recommend using Chair parts online!

I have never purchased replacement parts for our office chairs. This was so simple. Fit great. There were no instructions, but I figured it out. Also shipping was a little slow. But it worked great.
