I ordered and installed the metal 26" Black Painted Aluminum. Works perfectly as a replacement for a plastic base that broke. I am not counting on having the same issue with this base. Very sturdy and looks really good as well.

Immediate shipping, great value. To install casters (they DON'T just slip in) I sprayed then wiped WD-40 on the caster stem before intstalling, used a number 3 phillips screwdriver on the stem stud, and pounded in with a rubber mallet.

Fit perfect and love it because it is metal, and it can’t crack like plastic. Also the wheels from old base fit. Couldn’t ask for a better base! My son is a big boy so he needed a metal base because the plastic one just cracked.

The wheels on my old base were literally falling apart. In trying to replace them, I discovered the base was part of the problem. I ordered this (with wheels) and now it's fixed. Just like the chair lifts I also ordered, this base is very high quality, great price, and fast delivery.

I was so happy when my new parts arrived and fit and worked perfectly. My daughter and I were able to install the 5-star base and new casters ourselves and it's like having a new chair. So glad I found this site!
