Tough Stuff.
Posted by Gary Zupan on 1st Jun 2020
I broke my previous plastic base. The Heavy Duty 28" Al base appears 1 lb heavier and sturdier than plastic. The old base took some hard hammer hits to remove. I like the chair height and wider legs better. The roller blade casters move much freer for some reason. A few minutes to replace cylinder and casters (wheels). Good.

The original base cracked. The replacement is sturdy and fits. It saved a favorite chair.

Very good fit and finish

I spent $4 more for this black chair base because I decided it was worth it to have something that looked like quality. The black powder coat finish was perfect. The wheels fit into the socket perfectly. Solid aluminum, no flaws. Glad I chose this product.

Great Build Appearance

Just received this product as a replacement for a chair that was designed with a plastic base that kept breaking due to the casters. This design has a reinforced caster hole. The aluminum is a great muted matte black and goes with the chair. The sizing guide on the website was also a great help.
The shipping was phenomenal got a shipment email within 30 minutes of the order and fast.

Sturdy, strong and perfect! For someone that weights close to 400 lbs, this base did not even make a sound. Worth every penny!!!

Cheaper than a new chair.

After reading reviews on new office chairs about how the cushions do not hold up I decided to fix my 10 plus year old chair that had no problems with the seat instead of replacing it. The base fits like a glove and is made better than the original base.
