    Spoke to Wendy on Friday March 6th. She was extremely helpful with helping me measure and select the proper gas lift cylinder to raise the desk chair to the needed height. It arrived on Tuesday, March 10th. I had a much harder time removing to old one than I expected but the new one fit perfectly and raised the seat height to the exact height needed. Couldn't ask for more!

    I'm pretty tall and my Aeron didn't come up far enough to support my legs. I replaced the original gas cylinder with this and things are now great.

    My old gas cylinder was almost halfway into the chair base due to the base being all plastic, making the chair too low ever since I got it. Finally got a new metal base and this new gas cylinder. The cylinder sits into the base as it should, now I'm sitting high without a pillow. Don't worry between 4" or 5" since the height is adjustable. Parts on this site are quality.
