   I am very heavy person and these bases will last me years. They have the best welding for the connection from the post to base with gusset to support strongly. Lean has strong springs and control

   I bought this to replace the broken Base Tilt Mechanism in my Cougar Armor Series chair. I was concerned it might not fit but it went right on and dropped onto the pedestal without a problem, its BETTER than the original.

   THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT AND I WISH THIS CHAIR CAME WITH IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT THE ORIGINAL UNIT WAS SO CHEAP AND WEIGHT ABOUT 1/2 OF WHAT THIS PRODUCT BUT I WISH YOU WOULD DO BETTER ON YOU TRACKING IT NEVER LET ME KNOW WHERE IT WAS

   Purchased a chair on Amazon and both the tilt mechanism and piston were garbage. This and their heavy duty shirt piston were just what I needed to fix the chair and make it perfect!

   It fits and it works. It came fast. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't say where it is made which means it's made in Communist China. I hope this part last because Communist China is know for poor quality.

7. Saved another chair!

   This is our second order from chairpartsonline. The parts fit perfectly and were easy to install and for less than $70 we were able to save a $300+ chair. Last time we had to order the staff were so responsive and helpful, explained everything we needed to make the repair work. Great company!

   My chair was rated for big and tall, but the metal cracked right through along the sides anyways. This piece is 2-3 times thicker than the one that came on my chair and now it feels 10x more solid while sitting. I've got high hopes that this piece will last

   The tilt mechanism on my chair broke after more than 20 years. This is more heavy-duty than the original part which is exactly what I needed,
   
   My only real complaint is that the mounting holes are a bit too big so I have to be careful in plating the washers when tightening the bolts.

    This Swivel Chair tilt mechanism is advertised as 'Heavy Duty. You can believe it, because there is no doubt that it IS Heavy Duty. It's a LOT stronger, more study, than I had expected. This swivel/ tilt control will outlast any other part of this chair. This is a Great Buy!!
