   When the old cylinder removal failed the only choice was to replace the control mechanism plate. My chair is back together and works fine. Chairpartsonline has been very helpful.

   I ordered this seat plate for my 20 year old office chair. It was the same dimension and size and bolt hole line ups as the old broken one. The former one was broken at welding joints so it would tilt to one side. I had a never used from years ago ......a gas lift post since the old former one would not raise up. So I installed the new seat plate and gas lift and now I have a BRAND NEW BLACK LEATHER CHAIR WHICH WORKS PERFECTLY. GOD BLESS CHAIR PARTS ONLINE!!!!! I could not find online any other company which sells these chair parts.

   The tilt mechanism was easy to install and my old squeaky, wobbly broken chair is like new again for 35 bucks! I highly recommend this company. I got my part delivered free 4 days after I ordered it

    Initially I received the wrong part, but mistakes happen and customer service shipped a new one immediately after bringing it to their attention. The correct part matched all the specs of the part that was being replaced. Good parts and great customer service!
